Richard Evanson, Jr., Turtle Island Fiji - Solar Farm Inspires Others - TurtleTalks

We embarked on this project called Turtle Talks where we brought together experts in the field of clean energy and put them around a table atmosphere like we have here on the island, and basically started the dialogue about clean energy and how we can accelerate positive change in the world in relation to that.

The other day I actually took all the participants out to the solar field and showed them around. I showed them what we're actually doing. I think they were all very surprised by that achievement. And especially being on a remote island like this and having such an extensive setup like that and being completely off-grid is something that I think they hadn't really experienced anywhere else.

Most of them had not actually seen a closed-loop system like this and actually see it working and actually live in an environment where you're actually drawing from that system. So for them it was very inspirational and I hope that's something that we can share with the rest of the world.
