Lightning Returns: FF13 Playthrough #070, Day 4: Wildlands: The Old Man and the Field

After taking care of Snow in Yusnaan, Lightning has returned to the Wildlands to finish up some outstanding tasks.

In the Research Camp, she talks with Tilda about "Matchmaker" (time 0:29). Tilda needs 4 Moonsoul Blossoms, 2 Rocky Crag Moles, and 5 Green Leathers for a present she means to send to Dr. Sheep. When Light hands over the items, Tilda will head for Aryas. Lightning must head that way to make sure she gets there safely.

Then, Light talks with the Stubborn Old Man (time 3:11). He talks with her after she has grown and dug up her first crop of Tantal Greens. He seems quite familiar with Sarala. He offers Lightning the quest "The Old Man and the Field." He wants a piece of Gysahl Greens grown in Sarala's field to compare with a piece of Tantal Greens grown in his. When Light hands over the goods, he is overjoyed with Sarala's work. The rewards for this quest include 500 gil, a pair of Yellow-rimmed Glasses, and and some okay stat boosts. Light also plants more seeds for Tantal Greens.

Afterwards, Lightning heads southeast again to the Grasslands.

Oh goody, a Reaver in a Chaos Infusion (time 16:18). Just what everyone wants.

Back in Canopus Farms, Lighting digs up some more Gysahl Greens and replants Vegetable Seeds (time 22:04).

Then, she heads south towards Aryas.
