259 i think is the biggest one hit wonder in Robot Wars history, had such a fantastic look and killer run but just couldn't make it. I am glad Adam finally had a memorable moment in Robot Wars however.

Probably the robot that left the biggest impression on me in regards to how short its run was. Glass cannon is too generous, it was a styrofoam nuke.

I remember when I was little, I was so obsessed with Robot Wars, and particularly with 259. I ended up building a little construction of the robot of out paper and using a small cardboard circle as the blade. It was fun to construct!

That recoil in the 'deathblow' of the Fluffy fight always stuck with me, great video

having such a large amount of exposed blade belt was a pretty obvious flaw imo. should of had at least a partial guard over it and definitely high walls (or whatever you would call them) on the pulleys themselves to keep the belts from falling off like they loved to. it was an absolute monster for the first 30 seconds or so before it always threw those belts, if it kept them on it could have been hypnodisk tier.

I am still surprised that 259 is as popular as it is considering how little battles it had, it did make an awesome impression in its short time though

Watching this made me realize Robot wars are mild version of battlebots..that show are darn brutals

This is an awesome robot. It should have lasted a lot longer and fought with some of the legendary robots at least.

259 was destructive but it just needed some armor and support to really stay in there. It could have definitely been destructive to other robots.

259 had such bad luck in series 6. If they hadn't broken down against wild thing i'm sure they would've won the heat. I argue that they also would've beaten Razer.
