I can relate SO MUCH to the humming part! I also always have a song on my lips, the only difference being that I'm mostly whistling instead of humming.

I can't help but think that housekeeping dude could be a Holofan, and he just hears Kiara's and Reine's voice. He just silently smiles and leaves the room after finishing his business, knowing he's heard two Hololive girls in person.
