Ever since switching to an 8gpm, I have a hard time going back to the 4. You can also put a splitter on the 8 and it allows you to run 2 lines at 4 gpm. Greetings from Miami!

Get a gas can that doesn’t have those government mandated safety caps. if possible don’t get one from Lowe’s get a higher quality metal one. The ones from Lowe’s and Home Depot leak like crazy and take 6 months just to empty 1 gal while simultaneously spilling gas everywhere while doing it. only took one time to learn that lesson.

Red = gasoline, Yellow = Diesel, Blue = kerosene. It doesn't really matter, bit it is color coding for safty and to prevent the wrong fuel going into wring engine

I do some pressure washing, but I try to avoid it. Can't do much more than 4hrs. Side to side motion is too much for my back. It kept the bills paid for a while, though.

Add 30% to your costs. Buy 2 used 3500 machines & get them tuned up. One is for back up. Extra hose & gas can. Toolbox with hose connectors, fittings, clips, extra o-rings & seals, thread tape, engine oil & compressor oil. Take those stupid pneumatic tires off and replace with solid rubber wheels. Also, buy a 4 foot wand to save your back! Lastly, a 24" broom nozzle, will speed things up.

Try a 8 gallon tip, I use them washing hog barns and they work amazing

I get the blue gas cans...they are for kerosene, stops people from steal your fuel . My red ones would get stolen and had one customer swear I took his red gas can.🙄

Most pressure washers come with a 25ft pressure hose. Save yourself some labor and buy at least a 100ft hose. Keeps you from moving the machine much if at all.

I do power washing as well but for a school district, 4, 000 psi machine 100ft high pressure hoses & the smaller ones go 25- 50 as well. Proper footwear like some sperry boots, hit my leg with the wand in shorts over 2 months ago. It’s Still healing. Definitely need some sunglasses they’ll keep that shit from shootin back in your eyes if your hitting corners. They have water brooms that connect and will push the water as you move it.

Maybe also a Hi Viz jacket to keep warm and water repellent

Here's some info for you people. If you have a private well that has a submersible well pump. Do not under any circumstances run a pressure washer more than 15 minutes at one time. Let the well pump cool off for 15 minutes. Then go again, at 15 minute do this every 15 minutes and you will not burn out your well pump Don't send me no nasty comments. I'm just trying to help you. This happened to me and other people that I know don't do it. There's probably people out there that will argue with me they've done it for years, you just got lucky. This will cost you anywhere between $600 and $1, 500 to replace the well pump. That's including labor it can vary in different areas depending upon how deep your well is. This rule also applies to filling up your swimming pool.

They make direct drive and belt drive pressure washers. The belt drive is for residential use and the direct drive is for industrial cleaning. Get business insurance and register your business with your state. Learn about the different chemicals used to remove organic and synthetic rmaterial and how to use them safely.

The diesel can haha yeah they're for diesel mostly. You definitely can use it for regular gasoline. You just don't want to make the mistake of putting gas in a diesel engine, so the color helps knowing what you have and has become such a common thing

You can use the gas cans for whatever you want but in a sense yes yellow is considered to be a universal sign that it's diesel which is kind of weird because diesel at the pump that handles green so you would think the can would be green to follow along as well but I don't know use it for what you want

If you're not using the container as originally intended your postal label it. But at the end of the day it is your container so do what you want.

Pressure washer should have a separate unloader valve from the pump head so if it goes you can replace it easier.
And try to stick with a Honda engine as they last the most. 😊

Lol I put diesel in a ”red can" as long as you have a sharpie and 🧠 I think you'll be alright.

It don’t matter the color of the can. Just helps those that use both types of fuel identify more easily

I use VP racing fuel can with the additional spout. Excellent!!
