Priyanka, great video. However, I can't seem to reason it out as to why a database, once created, can't be deleted. Looks like I am stuck with the Region forever. The other databases such as Bigtable don't work this way and allow you to delete the entire database. But here in Firestore I can delete all collections and documents, but not the database itself. Can you throw some light on this, please? Getting rid of the project is not an option for me. Thanks, Priyanka.

Will you use firestore/datastore for point of sale applications, if not then what database do you recommend?

Hey great video but isn't it bit disingenuous to call it global scale when we can't even change location of database.

Firestore works very well for us. We have built a successful Android app using Google Firestore. The app allows the simultaneous work of multiple users both online and offline.
