These old skool C64 assembly / hacking tutorials are brilliant. Thank you.

21:28 Also Robin of "8-bit Show and Tell" recently did two videos on a 100% fix and then tape-crack of "Livingstone, I Presume?"

Awesome content as always :) - It would be quite interesting if you could also get someone to explain a similar thing in detail for the amiga. Like cracking a trackloader to dos format ? Many things you mention applies to the same on the Amiga as well.

Love the technical videos, keep them coming :)

I don't remember seeing anything like a cassette megademo. With turbo tape techniques I guess you could put like 5mb on a side.

That method is very different to the way that I learnt how to do this.
I load the game, and check the tape timer and see how long the game takes to load.
Then I Remember the number and reload the game again, but use warp to get as close to the end of the game load as possible.
Then I freeze the game just before it loads and then hunt for this hex string "A9 37 85 01". and most of the time I can find the entry point from there.
I mess up a few time, but I'm getting a bit better at seeing the patterns form in the code. 😁

Cool stuff. Do you have a video re modyfing multi level loaders from tape to disk ?
