After seeing Hemric do it... do you think blocking the air through the window helps gain time?

Ross Chastain - the personification of “just crazy enough to work”

The hand over the window net reminds me of when there was a spot in F1 cars that drivers would put their knee up to or whatever, to block airflow and gain an advantage. It was ruled as dangerous.

The extra air in the cockpit of the cars especially with the next gen is massive because of the slits in the rear window puts more air on the spoiler creating more drag. In years past it wouldn’t have affected much because that air was trapped in the car but now it comes out do the car. The less air hitting the rear spoiler will always make the ad faster no matter how little the air is manipulated

That transition to the Morgan & Morgen ad was clean as hell!

SuperFastMatt apparently worked for a NASCAR team. As he said in one of his videos (on aerodynamics) he said that NASCAR is about spending millions of dollars on solutions while making those solutions look like they were cobbled together by a hillbilly in a shed. Basically, any aerodynamic benefits in NASCAR that are done are supposed to look as dumb and messy as possible, like the body pull, so it can pass inspection without any questions. Rather ingenious really.

7:00 an open window creates a lot of drag on vehicles, and you can see a mileage decrease in your own vehicle if you pay enough attention to it. The faster you go, the more drag is induced, but I cant think of why blocking only a portion of the window would create less drag...unless theres a specific spot that causes the most drag.

I remember seeing that harvick car for the first time without the knowledge that they broke the rules. I though to myself that locks really funky

Going to be honest, I didn't expect a law firm sponsorship on Youtube, let along on a NASCAR video. Colour me surprised, but I am happy for you. That is a huge sponsorship!
