I was so ready for this book until I saw "MAC" and "Barrons" all over, Dani deserves more than one Main stage. As described on KMM's official page when I started this "Fever Series" Dani was to have her own set of novels, now it seems its all about the Blonde who was pink now all about the black..lets see if Dani gets her due in this one at least.

It started with Mac and Jericho and I am thrilled they are back! I have "Burned" on my countdown calendar. And I love Christian MacKeltar. If you haven't read the Highlander series you need to.

I, too, thought that Dani would be the main woman, since she was in Iced.  Mac has had more than her share of men who desire (and had) her.  Dani's had to claw and fight to survive and get taken seriously despite her super powers. She needs recognition and respect and, most of all, someone who always has her back.

I want to say more about this book, but i don't want to spoil the book for anyone, even if Dannie didn't say much in this one, i am sure she will get the chance to when she gets her own novel, it just feel like they are building her up and not letting much show, until you see Dannie's other sides and what she has gone threw, its opening everyone more, and we are getting to know a little more from all the characters  that we have all grown to love lol or lust for :)

So, has anyone solved the mystery of Jerico Barrons identity and the Nine? Somehow the Knights Templat is mixed up in it. They are always in the background.

Are you KIDDING KMM?  More mac and barrons, good God I struggled through half the fever series because of all the "same".. first and foremost how anyone can even pretend that more sex after multiple rapes makes it all better is beyond me and almost had me chucking the rest of the series. Pryia or not, come on you could have done so much better!  No I did not get that "it was really their strong bond and love for one another" out of that which I am sure some will say that's what it was really about!  What saved this all was ICED and the anticipated BURNED with more Ryoden and Dani, Feck Feck Feck!  I hope you didn't turn Dani into anything like Mac!  Oh and WTH, read on a cover description on Amazon that Mac and Dani are mortal enemies???  That is SO not supposed to be the case since hello, Mac found out that the twisted Seer made Dani do it!!!  How you wrote Dani's character in ICED really hit a great chord with me and so many others, Dani the MEGA deserves more of a full run that what you are putting out...MAC Barrons, for feck's sake its already overdone and charred!  I'll be back to give my review of Burned, and if I am wrong or misinterpreted every ad and announcement about it I will gladly apologize and offer much kuddo's but look at how long we waited to get some more Ryoden and Dani only to see all the hype with Mac and Barrons :(  Oh and come on add some Highlanders to it not just a "cameo", they were involved with the Fae from the beginning!
