I use refurbished TP5x and I can hit those into the woods just as well as the brand new ones.

I usually hit my Wilson into the woods and come out with 2 or 3 pro v1's.

I always play Callaway super softshell, great balls. I chose those cause some dude named walt seems to leave a trillion of them in the tall grass.

I was installing a new garage service door on a house last month and the customer had a dumpster in the driveway because they were moving. Guy was getting ready to heave a large box full of golf balls in the bin and the only reason I stopped him was the box said Callaway on it. I asked him if they were balls and he replied yes. Apparently he was in charge of buying balls for tournaments and this case was the leftovers. 42 dozen balls for free. Nike, Callaway, Wilson, Srixon, Top Flight Taylor and Maxflis. I was just thrilled. I gave five dozen to my girlfriend and five to my friend and will still never have to buy another ball the rest of my life.

I just use whatever I can find in the woods while looking for the one I lost. Great vid by the way!

How do you know it was the refurb balls you were feeling? You might just be feeling the difference between the 2017 and 2019 proV1

Big fan of playing with ProV1. Haven't actually had to buy any, golf course is littered with lost balls. So win win.

The good old Noodle balls never fail to amaze. Not only are they everywhere, I don’t cry at the gaping void in my wallet when I lose one :)

I switched from refurbished Bridgestone B330s to refurbished ProV1x and was stunned at how good the performance was. Rick is correct, I'll lose the ball before I notice the durability issues these balls might have, so for half the price, it's definitely worth it for me...

I’d agree with other commenters—a video about how much scuffing a ball can take before really affecting your play would be very interesting. Another great video!

So you started me thinking, how much scuff damage can a ball have before it affects your shots.
