First sound test of my entirely restored 1940 Imperial Stassfurt 60WK Radiogram. All original paperworks and certificates were still placed inside the cabinet. The wood quality, shellac polish and artdeco styling of this german luxury wartime sound machine (designed in 1937 and built with some mods until late 1940) is very first class. This was an expensive piece of early "Hi-fi" in the wartime Reich. Large 2 way "Oerstit" permanent magnetic dynamic Alnico speakers with 6DB frequency crossover network give a full, rich and dynamic sound. These highly modern papercone NAWI type of speakers still where the sound reproduction technology of the 1950s and 60s! These were used only in the finest sets during the late 1930s.

Alarmed I called out loud: "Hallo, blonde!"
And I followed her in a taxicab
Until I finally succeeded
Because thank God I finally caught up.

But when she stopped in front of her house
A drama had nearly happened
Because her husband, he got off as well
Out of love I had overseen him.

In a sky-blue small limousine
Luck was sitting as a sweet, blonde passenger
And I waved at her
And in a flash she had already passed me by.

Daily at the same hour I wait for her now
But fate wants it, I ve never seen her again...
Said that I am a talented song-writer
and even if I had no luck to see her again, I cheekily made
a song out of it.

Thanks again for sharing and it is amazing to hear these vintage systems play again. This is my second Youtube site I am replying from. I would love if there was a dedicated and acoustically treated museum dedicated to showing off all restored vintage audio, cinema and TV systems from the earliest days to the latest state of the art. The museum would also have a vintage movie theater in a Art Deco or similar style with the vintage film projection system offering the best in both visual and audio performance when projecting both old and current movies(mostly vintage movies such as the great musicals from the early days). Also vintage broadcast and recording studio components. Vintage jukeboxes like Wurlitzer and many others. Yes also car audio from the early tube car radio's to the latest. Everything would be in optimum restored performance to show off how well and how far back great audio/visual playback can be heard and seen so the visitors can be totally amazed on the history of clean sounding audio and clean/clear black and white and color video. I apologize for getting lengthy but that is what I have in my mind if I had the means to put such a museum together. I would make it a lively and entertaining museum with a concert hall, a restaurant and souvenir shops with vintage audio/video related merchandise. I would love to pull this museum out of my mind and place it where it would be a great asset to all. Your restorations would be very welcome in that museum!!
