Our Government is Preparing for Civil Unrest-Elections

Reports indicate that the Federal, State and Local governments are preparing for civil unrest around election time in America. So shouldn't we prepare our homes too for the possibility of civil unrest or chaos surrounding election results.

90% of the people around me, (Work, Family, Friends) all think me and my Wife are nuts. They have their head in the sand. We are in the woods, plenty of Food, Water, Fuel, Ammo, etc.... If we are wrong, no biggie, nothing goes to waste. But if things go to shit, we are all set. I love when people say, well if this Shit hits the fan, we are coming to your house. Lets just say that only Our Kids and Parents are welcome.

They just updated Department of Defense DOD 5240.01 on September 27, 2024 to allow the military to use lethal force against civilians when assisting law enforcement! Do you think they are expecting something due to the upcoming election? An excerpt from page 13 reads: Assistance in responding with assets with potential for lethality, or any situation in which it is reasonably foreseeable that providing the requested assistance may involve the use of force that is likely to result in lethal force, including death or serious bodily injury. It also includes all support to civilian law enforcement officials in situations where a confrontation between civilian law enforcement and civilian individuals or groups is reasonably anticipated. Such use of force must be in accordance with DoDD 5210.56, potentially as further restricted based on the specifics of the requested support. Look up DOD 5240.01 to verify, it's official.

I spoke with a friend who for 20 years works for the Department of Defense in DC. I asked him if we should worry about upcoming events. In a word he said, 'worry.' Once an optimist and proud American he believes we are on the Event Horizon of our nation.
For sure if Trump is elected, there will be national rioting for weeks/months with very little National Guard intervention.
His advice: Prep and bug in. Dry beans, canned meats, water, guns and ammo.
It's gonna get real, folks, but Jesus is in control.
