After charging the Redodo Lifepo4 100A battery with a 1.1A charger I knew I needed to get something different. I really wanted a charger that was portable and could charge 12v and 24v batteries. I found it with this Haisito 20A Battery Charger. I can even charge my 24v system with a smaller 12v Battery in case of an emergency!

I just got this same charger a few weeks ago and I LOVE IT. I love the display and all the info it provides. I use mine with an Enjoybot 200ah LiFePo4 battery.

I got that charger and going to use it first time today. I hope that it does auto shutdown on its own when my ReDodo 100ah is fully charged. The more I watch the more I learn, I appreciate the channel thanks.

Thanks.. I needed this. I'm going to have this charger plugged into a heavy duty Bluetooth power adapter to activate it remotely if battery is low

Ive watched a ton of your videos in the last few weeks and have found them useful and informative. I'm just getting started in the Solar and Off Grid world. I made the mistake of buying a 2 amp charger for my 12v batteries. Takes forever at 30 watts. Just hope we start to get a bit more sun here in Ireland so i can charge faster that way. Keep up the good work

i like the idea that the Haisito charger has its own display with actual digits, not different color lights to show the state of charge. I have 2 NOCO chargers that do the job well but no digital display. I have to use digital volt meter to see the state of charge of the battery. I just clicked on the amazon link to check out the price wow they are giving that charger away. Im going to pick one up soon if they dont sell out. BTW i bought a batter disconnect the same one you did a video on. Works perfect thanks

I was a little reluctant about this charger because of the fan noise but its actually quieter than I had thought. I had a Harbor Freight 2/8/15amp charger and it was loud.

As I've commented on your other video, these chargers (Haisito/HTRC, same unit, and this includes the P35) do NOT terminate charging properly on LiFePO4, they don't seem to go into the different modes listed in the manual, they just go full blast at whatever they're set (which, as you know, is not accurate on top speed) and then abruptly stop and display FULL. As such, you're not able to fully charge LiFePO4 batteries with these chargers. If you're building an in-series multi-battery unit, you won't be able to top them off to start with a balanced set by using these chargers.

These are also sold under other names such as HTRC. It's the usual, one Chinese factory putting out the same thing under different brands. Simply depends on what your local importer has on stock.

These often go for 60 moneys (20A) or 40-50 (10 or 15A), depending on where you are.

I think it should charge at no higher voltage than 14.4volts, not 17 volts.

Oh 1 thing I was going to ask about fuses and breakers could not find answer. Are they Bi directional. Does not seem to tell me in small print. 😕 Thanks in advance.

Question of the day…
I currently have a pair of 2-way radio repeater at my lake house. One Motorola and one Hytera.
I’m now using Trojan lead acid batteries with a hodgepodge of relays, contactors and chargers to power everything.

The repeaters each have a 12vdc (11-14vdc) input (3amps RX / 14amps transmit).
Can one of these chargers be left connected to a 12v 100ah LifePO4 battery CONTINUOUSLY?
I have heard so many different opinions that have left me totally confused.

Thanks!

I'm a rookie...Could I use this while connected to shore power? Meaning my rv converter would be charging the battery and this would be connected directly to the same generator. Just worried about multiple charging sources.

What is the brand of that 12 V battery that you were using with the AC plug built into it

Looking at this unit for my Redodo 100aH in my MaxiTrac battery box. In a pinch could I charge the flooded lead acid battery in my camper trailer or is it limited to sealed lead acid?
My priority of course is the LifePo4.

all said and done, the best thing to prolong the chargers life is to replace that cheap fan before it dies to keep from burning up a good charger. I used to biuld gaming PC's fans are not very expensive. Maybe I will get one and then see what size that fan is, or if nothing else mount a slightly larger better quality fan in front or behind it depending on which way the fan moves the air. I have a lot of 120 mm fans I may just use one of them after mounting it on a piece of plywood that the charger can sit on also. I know those will be bigger, but air is air.

Hi, is this as good as the Haisito?. Does it switch back on batteries?, also does it maintain the battery if it gets low by automatically start charging?. I'm not sure which to get, the Haisito or the HTRC. Appreciate the videos on these, thanks.

The only real surprise/shock is the gauge of the AC side wire …. 😳 Seem Awfully Small for pulling 20A ….
Thanks for the Vid ! 👍🏼
