College Football fall camps have opened and on Late Kick Live Ep 162 Josh Pate continued the Whispers & Intel series with the latest we're hearing from across the nation. Has the Tennessee QB battle started to take shape with positive returns on Joe Milton or have we not even begun to see things shake out yet? At Ohio State we are already seeing a major depth chart push at the RB position with Miyan Williams and TreVeyon Henderson potentially pushing their way past Master Teague for a majority of the carries this fall. At Clemson Will Shipley is another true freshman tailback already making a ton of noise while at Notre Dame the focus is on the Irish offense and how much further a QB like Jack Coan is capable of taking a veteran laden team. I watched Bailey at Marietta, he would be my pick when the dust settles

Miyan Williams couple runs on Clemson were incredible, dude is a wrecking ball. He was sorely missed at the NC, especially when Sermon went down. Hopefully Trev is shifty with great vision like Trey. They will make a solid 1-2 punch. Teague is a reliable back but hasnt shown the vision or second level speed to excel against the upper echelon of CFB.

Milton might set an NCAA record for most interceptions if he starts for a full season in the SEC

This is why I listen to you. Your crews logic is sound. Yes I’m a Tennessee Fan! Now I checked through coaches here in Michigan about Joe Milton. I live in Michigan. And the answer I got was, here he wasn’t constant. But they don’t have a QB coach that has ever developed a star NFL Quarterback on Michigan’s team. We have also Virginia Tech QB Transfer that might make the starter. I better learn his name quickly. I believe Tennessee will select Milton because of his running ability. And the Virginia Tech man as back up. That’s the way I would call it. We will do ok on Defense so we’re talking a lot higher scoring then last year. We will play a faster rhythm then anyone in the SEC East. So don’t run your yap if your on the field be ready. Or we will take advantage. Good luck rotating players. Your going to need that by week after us BROTHER.

Teague and B.Rob at bama are in similar situations, even if they lose touches to younger guys they are def important for the rb room because they are experienced

Teague is decent but he don’t put fear in any defensive coordinator if the hole is the size of an alley he’s great

Josh, wise words about the TN QB race. My money is on Bailey also. Simply because he's the long ball surgeon of the four. Good reports from the QB camps he attended this Summer. We are only being treated to a few hand fulls of passes between these four daily. Excellent point about who can do what when a D is coming for you. Bailey shaved 12 lbs off to get faster by going on a plant and veggie based diet. Milton could win it but we are going to have to see something beyond that what we've seen him do at Michigan. The SEC D speed is a thing to newer QB's.

I really appreciate Teague…but he doesn’t have the shiftiness that any of the other RBs have

I know Treyvyon gets most of the attention as well as Teague and Williams. I for one would like to see Marcus Crowley get his chance. He can catch, and he's big and fast and can make people miss. I hope he gets a shot to make an impact.

Milton rushed a lot of his throws and made the Michigan offensive look bad. I think Milton should have went to a lower conference because I think the SEC is going to eat him alive.

Milton was not brought in to hold a clipboard. He is the guy.

Any buckeyes fan that’s more than a casual knows miyan will start the season but treyveon Henderson will be the guy by the end of the year

One thing I’ve always liked about Clemson is they’re not afraid to play the best player regardless of race. We’d like to think players aren’t typecast for certain roles but they are. And Clemson doesn’t care about that. If you’re a black QB, and you’re the best option, you’ll play QB instead of RB or WR. If you’re a white boy RB, and you’re the best option, you’ll play RB instead of Safety.

Milton did not fit Michigan's offense. Period!! With Heupel I think Milton will do good

Ima be unmerciful when the season starts and the media predictions turn out to be nothing but lies, spin and propaganda.
