Oh yeah, your modification is much better. You had to take a lot apart just to get to that point but it sure looks great. Well done.

Great tutorial! In depth with everything and shows exactly where things go. Love the modification as well. Does anyone know if this would also work with a 2018 impreza sedan? not sure if it'd be different but just want to be sure. I don't have the hatchback but would love to get this hitch!

That looks like a pretty beefy hitch for something that’s not on a pick up truck. Nice! 3500 pounds is pretty stout for a car.👍

I like how Subaru designed that rear plastic. Most cars I work on, any type of bodywork has clips on it, and they all break, or never go back together the way they came apart. Just putting headlight assemblies in a lot of vehicles today is infuriating! Got a whole new respect for Subaru after watching yours and Eric O’s videos. 👍🍻
