Hi Joe and Kody, my wife and I visited Perth in 2022. We were absolutely blown away by London Court. As you said it does have that York feeling about it. Western Australia is such an amazing place. Have a good flight back to Queensland.

I am seventh generation from England. My family on my mothers side started with an artist who was commissioned to design the common seal for WA back in 1865. It is still in use today. He married and went onto farming south of Perth in Wandering. A place he named after finding horses that ran off, and found them wandering in a valley 150 kms south weeks later. As he found the ground more viable for farming than his given settlers land in Cannington in Perth today. He traded in the Perth land for the new and bigger settlement that stayed in the family for 6 generations.

Guys I love how respectful you are when entering cathedrals and even tourist places, you lower your voices in respect for others. Love your videos. Come to Melbourne next

i want to thank you soooo much for showing London Court. I have a photograph of my late mother taken there when she visited us in Perth, so I have special memories of being there with her. You missed the clock display. The knights on horseback with their lances I think they were called.
We came to Perth in 1991 and settled. I think it has so much to offer. I love living here. We are in the foothills down from the airport so handy when we get visitors.
Hope Paulie got home safely. You know how much you are loved when people take that long flight to see you.
P.S. My granddaughter was at the game you were talking about at Optus stadium, and she was so happy to see her team win. Well done the Dockers. Fremantle team.

As a 7th gen Aussie, I love my home state so much & really appreciate your commentary on WA. We get so much negative attention, saying we’re too boring, have nothing to see or do & much worse, so very glad to see your positivity. There’s so much to do here. If you get a chance to go up north to Broome or further, you’ll see more amazing places- The Pilbara & Kimberly are beautiful. Ningaloo Reef off Exmouth is stunning, and all the gorges and landscapes are glorious. Thank you for loving our state, we’re pretty proud of her ourselves 😊

Fun fact - WA is the 2nd largest State on the planet (only just pipped by Sakha in Russia which is covered in ice & snow). Perth is a Mediterranean climate similar to California and has a mild winter, so outdoor activety is huge and does not have the dripping wet humidity as you guys experience living in tropical QLD. Our coastline stretches some 13, 000kms (8, 000 miles) long of endless glorious white sandy beaches facing the Indian Ocean hence the amazing sunsets over the ocean.
Your guys only experienced a small snippet of Perth and WA and glad you got to expereince some of it in the short time you allocated for your trip over here.
My wife is from the UK and keeps telling me (a local) that we live in Paradise as far as she is concerned.
I grew up in Scarborough and learn't to surf at a young age and just took it all for granted as my parents were mad caravaners & the beach lifestyle dominated our lives growing up.
I have travelled all of Australia extensively and overseas (including UK & Europe) and rate our lifestyle living here when weighing up all aspects as King over any other place despite the fact it is labelled as an isolated city (meaning it is not a rat race like the east coast with much denser population and all the negatives that go with very busy cities)
I am sure you will be back one day

There are a lot of suburbs in Perth that look like old small country towns because it wasn’t long ago when they were. If you had been to Perth 10 or more years ago and this was a return trip you’d notice a lot has changed and that Perth has really expanded.

I visit family here in WA; coming over every couple of years. I usually come in the winter because i find the heat exhausting. Every time I've seen something new. It's amazing. Love the market and the old prison in Fremantle.
