I’ve been making this with fat free cottage cheese and fat free cheddar since my bariatric surgery over a year ago! It’s delicious! I also add nutritional yeast to the recipe to boost the protein even more! Love it!

This remains, hands-down, my favorite recipe on YouTube. I typically use more hot sauce (Frank's Red Hot) than the recipe calls for, and I sometimes substitute half of the shredded cheese for blue cheese cumbles. I'll also typically cut up some of the firm parts of a few green onions (the whites and the more solid green bits) and throw them in when baking, then save the rest of the green onions for toppings.

Also, my blender burned out recently, and I made the same recipe with Greek yogurt instead of cottage cheese, stirring everything together instead of blending. Still worked great, but I prefer the cottage cheese!

Looks tasty. The amount of protein I eat per meal varies depending on how many meals I'm having that day. It's generally somewhere between 35 and 70 grams.

I was so excited to make this, I used Daisy 2% cottage cheese. That’s all I did differently. It had a coating of water on top and was chalky tasting
