AXIS Foils ART899 LIVE Review

AXIS Foil ART899, the middle of the current range. This wing is all about speed, control, and glide. While the small numbers on this wing may be intimidating, this wing has great pump, and turns on a dime. Coming from the bigger brother, the 999, it is a little more pitch sensitive but a slighhtly longer fuse can really conteract that while you get used to it. For me I like that, as you lean it over it hooks around the turn so hard. Now this wing has a lot of lift for its size and is still what I ride on really small days where I want to turn and carve more, but still have plenty of pump to do a couple laps while the waves are slow. Lastly, just like the 999, heaps of early lift and a resonable stall speed for its size.

Wow, what a serup paired with your skills! Excellent! Once you mentioned the PNG wings and didn't quite get what the thought was, donyou remember? And another question: I got a 1150 PNG the 899 Art, for proning on small waves (more about cruising on waves and not minding pumping a lot back to the next wave), do you think a Art999 or Art1099 would be a better option than the PNG1150?

Hey, Oskar, Armstrong now has the HA195 tail wing! I currently have the HS1550v2, HS1050, and HA925 front wings, and I'd love to here what you think of the HA195 for prone surfing.

Great video ! I just got myself the 899 but so far I am deceived as I just can't pump it, I do 3 pushes and then it drops all of a sudden, any thing that you need to do differently? I can pump the 880 without a problem
