I think Deadlock is a reactive sentinel like Sage rather than a hard anchor sentinel like KJ or Cypher. I could see her throwing her E on a choke to cut off the Jett/Raze who entered site to isolate them from their team. Apart from that she acts more like a initiator/sentinel hybrid than anything else.

Seriously rab, anything new will always be set to be nerf, not buffed. If a new agent comes out and he/she needs buffs no one will play that agent (harbour) so its more in riot interest to release agents more overpowered and roll back some of them with nerfs, than trying to make a agent "stronger" straight after launching it (people will be all over riot if this happens)

It’s true doe. Deadlocks net and ult needs a buff I just demolished her in 13-3 a few hours ago

I think she is balanced pretty well, her ult isn't THAT strong it takes forever to kill the player and can be broken pretty easily. It gets hard when the cacoon is being watched by the enemy team. I don't think she will be a competitively viable substitute for other sentinel agents.
