Today I am sharing some stencil rubbing I did when I was playing with my StencilGirl stencils for #100daysofstencilgirl. I made muted and mixed colors with acrylic ink on vellum and rice paper and used oil pastels for rubbings. #AJOSmutedtones

I've done the rubbing before applying paint but I think rubbing after painting is even better! I especially like the way you used the rubbing color to tone down the base colors. Thanks for the great idea!
