Mini PC's have come a long way. I love the idea of them. Especially since many of them are extremely affordable. Be coo lto 3d print a holder or something onto a graphics tablet and make it look like an all in one and kidn of build your own diy surface pro type pc.

That's laptop CPU, by the way. This is basically a laptop with a dedicated graphics card, and lots of bling.
Which honestly is a better investment that buying a laptop for art, since you're going to want a decently big screen anyway, so a laptop screen doesn't cut it
But calling it a mini PC is a bit sneaky, since it's a mobile CPU that it uses. With only 6 cores as well.

Mini PC's like this with soldered components make no sense to me because they have all the drawbacks of a laptop( soldered cpu, gpu & irreplaceable mobo) with none of the benefits( built in screen and battery, trackpad & mouse). Makes way more sense to just build a mini ITX PC in a compact case with none of those drawbacks.

Thank you so much for this video! I love mini stuff. And a mini PC that enables us to also play games and render things, is amazing. No more heavy and big PC's! Could you make a video about which laptop is worth the money for simple blender rendering and some photoshop painting/ editing? Macbook Air? Macbook Pro? Any windows laptops better and cheaper than apple? A comparison would be nice. I need to buy a new one and not sure if I keep a windows laptop or go for an apple one.

I've been looking for EXACTLY this for months. I want a PC only for Blender and 3D, but I don't want a super humongous tower (my main computer is a Mac and I play on consoles, I want the PC just as an accessory), so this is perfect. Thanks, Brad!

Mini ITX PC builds can be a significant challenge depending upon the case, and especially with the size of GPU's which can be prohibitive (with the caveat that if you do a watercooled version you may fare better), but they are usually very cute once done. There's something very cool about a smaller footprint on the desk.

Brad, isn't ARM the future, at least for personal computers? If/when they can get graphical performance up there, won't ALL such devices have the form factor of a Mac mini?
