In this video, I give students an introduction to trigonometry up through the high school level, with examples of problems that are typical on the SAT and ACT. If you master just the skills presented in this video, you will be able to solve every SAT Trig problem, and 90% of ACT trig problems (law of sines is also sometimes required on the ACT, which will be covered in another video soon).

My primary focus is SAT tutoring and admissions help but I also offer lessons for high school and college math and science, feel free to send a message inquiring!

There was a question I did, and there was tiangle in a circle in the xy plane. It's radius was at (0, 1) and it's cordinates were root 3/root 2, and it asked for tan theta. How would you do this, tan=sin/cos=y/x, but I'm unsure which one I should use.

For the sin problem shouldn't the answer be like 4.7 for sin? When I plug it in the calculator I get that value, on mathway it says the same... not sure if I'm doing sm wrong.
