In this video you will be shown how to write down 2 single ratios as 1 triple ratio.

In example 1 the ratio of A to B is 2:3 and the ratio B to C is 4:5. Write down the ratio A to B to C. Since you have the B part of both ratios find the loses common multiple of 3 and 4 which is 12. This means you need to multiply the first ratio by 4 and the second ratio by 3. Thus will give a final answer if 8:12:15.

In example 2 the ratio D to F is 3:4 and E to F is 7:10. This time you have the F part of both ratios. The lowest common multiple of 4 and 10 is 20. This means times the first ratio by 5 and the second by 2. This will give a final ratio of 15:14:20.
