'Dear Doctors' by #MEAction GA for #TeachMETreatME

Показать описание
“Dear Doctors” written by Jes Gordon and performed by #MEAction Georgia.
Dear Doctors, Politicians and those with authority
There’s millions missing because they aren’t your priority
When COVID first started we hollered and screamed
We said, “watch out this will be much worse than you dreamed”
And now look, here we are, just like we said
No one listened to all the people stuck in their bed
We did the work, and hurt ourselves, for this… here you go
It’s a plan to teach everyone what they need to know
You have the power to treat us with respect and dignity
Teach M.E. Treat M.E. for the sake of eternity
#MEAction Georgia created this powerful video and they also have a #TeachMETreatME event coming up on September 18th at 4:00 pm ET. The target is nursing students and medical professionals but all are welcome! Help spread the word!
The Emory School of Nursing in partnership with CDC will host a Voice of the Patient panel discussion on September 18. #MEAction Georgia advocates will talk about their lived-experience with ME/CFS and Long COVID and take questions from the audience. It will be held in room 101 at the Emory School of Nursing. (1520 Clifton Rd, Atlanta).
Emory will be recording the event and it will be available afterwards. Please share this event on social media and help us shine a light on the #MillionsMissing!
