It still exists. Not just in asia. But all over the world. Just like cannibals do still exist. Serial killers exist. Stop living in denial.
But it doesn't mean you'll meet one on a daily basis.



Edit: people can really be stupid sometimes. The point is, something outrageous to you could be normal to others and vice versa. That is why we have culture. And those culture started before people where people don't even know what does organs do. And most likely whereever you come from that there would be a taboo thing that still exists. 🙄
And the way people here talk, shows how clueless they could be. And a hypocrite.

And I'm not only pertaining to dogs. Yes, other eat crocodile meat, others dont. Other eats horse meat, others don't. Others eats bat, but mostly people dont. why is it okay for the american indigenous tribe to eat a beluga, or a whale, post it on social media? But not okay for other race to do so without causing an uproar?? Come on, hypocrisy of all people.🤷


And don't Underestimate peoples capabilities and how it works. There are tons of crazy out there.

I'm from Nigeria where some tribes eat dogs for festivals, especially "Ogun festival", it's even worse in some towns and villages where they slaughter dogs brutally on the streets, any dog that comes to their sight. Few years ago my dog was chased for over an hour by these idol worshippers on motorcycles, she got a deep cut on her neck, very close to her bone, I don't know how they lost trails of my dog but she miraculously survived and came home few hours later. It was a heartbreaking experience but I'm glad she survived.

😅 I find it funny the double standards people have regarding what meat people can or cannot eat. As long as it's not cannibalism I leave it up to the people's choice. Obviously if most people are against eating certain category of animals then it would become odd societally to eat it. But I keep my meat choices basic and maybe once in awhile venture from the norm. Asian countries just tend to be known for eating more variety of meats, but we also have other Euro/South American/African countries eating some too just people do not talk about it as much.

I feel like people have very weird morals because why is it OK to eat pigs and lamb and chicken but it's suddenly a bad thing to eat dogs either all animals or none ( I have two dogs)

Fun fact for all koreaboos: Dogs are classified as "livestock" in Korea and fall under the same banner as cattle and pigs. Some months ago there were some very angry farmers protesting on the streets of SEOUL against attempts to ban dog farming and dog eating. I remember how absolutely angry they were 😔

Korea looks shiny on the outside but inside, it is another story altogether

People have such double standards😅. An animal is an animal. Little known fact, some people eat dog in America too. There was a law passed protecting their right to do so under religious freedom. Im an American vegetarian BTW 😊

the thing is, despite it not being common, it's not something to crucify koreans over. no one condemns french ppl for eating frog legs, or mongolians for eating horsemeat. at the end of the day, while i wouldn't dream of eating dog meat, i (or several other omnivores) can't condemn koreans for consuming it *as a delicacy* -- and again, it's not even common there ╥﹏╥ as he said lmao

Okay Iam Muslim and we can’t eat that and it feels disgusting but.
