I have the same problem with my Pixel 9Pro as I did with my Pixel 6: When I open the phone using my fingerprint, instead of opening to the starting page, sometimes it opens to some random app. I have never understood why. It's a small pain.

Can anyone comment on the mobile connectivity performance of the P9 Pro? I know it uses different Sammie modems than the garbage ones in my P7 but I won't go anywhere near a Pixel again until it's confirmed to me that the horrendous cell connectivity issues issues of my P7 aren't repeated.

Anyone has a problem with Camera? You should test the Camera when it's chill outside The Camera shuts down that phone when you take picture when 36F/2C and the phone is in original google case.. . I reproduced that crash many times. So basically if you want to take a winter picture be prepared that Pixel 9 Pro will shuts down repeatedly while using the Camera. I just recently bought Pixel 9 Pro, and will return it.
I never had that problem with Samsung S20 - I did many pics in Winter time when it was freezing outside, Samsung worked great! I could understand that limitation when it's -10C/14F.. But not when it's not even below 0C/32F...

Did I get a lemon? I've heard so many good reviews, but my audio is super distorted and even pops and crackles no matter what I'm listening to, including Google maps, if i turn the volume up past 30 percent or so. YouTube and other apps also hang frequently and Bluetooth has trouble connecting to certain devices including the car. Is this normal for the pixel pro 9? I've only had it for less than 2 weeks.

I've dropped mine on the ground getting out of my truck a few times without a case and it's held up very well. It's a tank but is slippery without a case.

My only complaints are how it handles video editing in capcut and how it looks like it's raining during low light selfie videos lol

I LOVE my Pixel 9 Pro Fold. Never looked at the Z Fold, no need to. Z is too small, narrow.
One fixable beef on the 9: To increase Blue Tooth range and stability (a common complaint), turn off A2DP in the developer section. A2DP is an extra step in sound processing that isn't missed in my buds. Otherwise, great job.

It's better to go for a Samsung S24 Ultra than the Google Pixel 9 Pro. You can't sell a flagship phone at a flagship price with a 3-year-old chip. It's unacceptable, and we shouldn't be supporting such practices. It makes no sense to do so in 2024.
