Senator Ryan Pearson RI General Assembly (D-19)

In a wide ranging interview, Senator Ryan Pearson (Cumberland/Lincoln D19) joined The Coalition Talk Radio Friday evening. Subjects discussed included economic development, the Pawtucket Red Sox stadium deal, the past legislative session, as well as Senator Pearson's legislative priorities. In the closing minutes of the show, Host Pat Ford, citing the unanimity of opposition from Rhode Island's medical and civil liberty communities, challenged Senator Pearson to sponsor the repeal of recently signed legislation (H5469A) which allows for warrantless searches of the Rhode Island State Prescription Drug Monitoring Program.
