Electrohome Wellington All In One Radio/CD/USB/Turntable Model EANOS502

I got this unit from Jaykay18. He ended up with 2 of the same unit and had no use for them so he offered them to me and I agreed to take them. One was used and the other appeared mint as the turntable still had the foam around it. In this video I test the used one. The stylus was bent but i was able to bend it back into position. I Looked up the manual but it doesn't say anything about what kind of stylus it has. It could be diamond tip or sapphire which is softer. They do sell a aftermarket sapphire stylus that will play all speeds so you don't have to swap needles to play 78RPM records. 78s have the grooves wider and are made out of shellac instead of vinyl so a regular diamond stylus will ruin them. Towards the later years of 78s they started making them out of vinyl and could be played with a regular stylus.
Unit Has decent sound when listening to the radio or CD etc but the turntable sounds a bit tinny like the bass is all the way down and the treble turned up etc. It's not designed to be high end. Most of these units are just novelty. Great for collage or a fishing shack etc or vacation cabin etc.
Has a AUX in on the back of the unit for attaching either a MP3 player or your phone or a external cassette deck etc. Turntable sounds like it has some wow and flutter to it. It is belt drive. Has a earphone jack for private listening or hooking it up to your home stereo system for better sound. It doesn't record to CD but it does record to USB which is rear. The unit I had recorded to CD and had a cassette deck on the side of the unit.
