Here's my secret golf drill that i use with so many clients! This fixes an over the top swing and stop slicing instantly. This is no joke and all of my clients have had incredible success with this swing tip! and I know that it'll work for you too.

Golfers struggle with an over the top golf swing and it is the most common swing flaw in golf. So many people have this type of swing yet so many golfers struggle with it. Over the top swing leads to pull slice, pulling, pull hooking, push slice, and the club face is open!

An over the top swing is cause by golfers trying to hit the ball from the top of the backswing solely with their arms.

hi Alex, this lesson might be what I'm looking for

Outstanding explanation of the slice! Any time I start to go see an unwanted fade or when I want to try and get a little draw, I bring my right foot rearward 2 to 4 inches in my setup stance to improve the swing path.

The drill where you placed a second ball behind and inside the teed Ball and thought of striking the second ball first worked best for me. Thanks

I also find, if you trace your target line on the top of the ball at address, then try to impact the ball on your side of the line or as I like to call the rear inside quadrant. Just a mental image, i find you can't help but to swing inside to out.

Have you done a video on keeping the right heel anchored in the first part of the downswing? This has been a key for me in swinging from the inside instead of over the top.

Are you deliberately trying to look like Hawkeye from the Marvel films?😁 I’ve suffered with a horrendous slice on and off for years, this vid is definitely going to help me👍👍

My way is to push the club out to the top corner of the mat. Top right for right hander. Top left for left hander.

Alex, here's my issue:

In the past I am a fairly long driver of the golf ball, 300 is not uncommon and was solid contact in most cases. All of a sudden the new season has rolled around and I am non-stop topping the golf ball. I play the ball off my front foot, maybe even in line with my big toe, could I have widened my stance without realizing it or am I simply playing the ball too far forward? I feel like if I try to move the ball back It feels uncomfortable/unnatural to try to setup that way and then becomes difficult to hit.

I plan on going to the range today to play around, its just become a weird flaw that I can't pinpoint.

When i try to hit inside out path i sometimes start to hit low in a club face. Maybe i lean back too much?

So if one wants a fade ? Shoulders still can’t be left if stick ?
