Division Agent Vs Ghost

The Division || Ghost Recon

One is the most experienced, specialized, and qualified operators that the Joint Special Operations Command has to offer. The other is the United States last line of defence, when all other agencies and defensive options have failed.

So what would happen if a Division agent and a Ghost were pitted against each other...and who would come out on top?

Apologies for the re-upload of this video.
I was manually Copyright Claimed by Ubisoft on some of the background music.

I agree that Division Agents don’t exactly have a full military training while Ghosts already have a standard military plus advanced military training under their belt. Although there are a few division agents with military background. As much as I enjoy the Division agents, I’m putting my side on the Ghosts.

This video makes me want a Ghost Recon spinoff that puts the ghosts in the middle of the Division world, it would be fun having the Ghosts hunt down rogue agents.

Ghosts work more stealthly

It's actually not impossible that the Ghosts might be active simultaneously with the Division. If a team of Ghosts was on deployment when a lethal pandemic like the Green Poison hit, they might be instructed to stay in-country to either continue their mission or perhaps be provided a different one, perhaps to support/defend a laboratory studying the pandemic. That said, the Ghosts would almost certainly not be within the borders of the United States, whereas the SHD's agents would most likely only ever be active on US soil.

I'd like to see 4v4 of this scenario...each squad gets the best of what each side has to offer. It'd be a great fight

If the Ghosts, 4th Echelon, and the Division were to combine as one that would be crazy in the best way possible.

Once again we need Ghosts VS Splinter cells

The Fact you mentioned splinter cell agents makes me smile. Sam Fisher is an absolute unit but 3E and 4E agents are also highly capable. Sam is just the best of them, and if we get a new Splinter Cell Game I honestly wouldn't mind if we were in the Shoes of Briggs from blacklist, if anyone were to take after Sam it'd be him.

Ghost Recon operators: they work under the military branch, they're more like Special Forces. They are masters of guerrilla warfare, specialized recon technology, and stealth tactics.
The Division agents: they work under the law enforcement branch, they're more like SWAT on steroids. They are masters of urban tactical warfare and very high-tech weaponry.

I can't put my side on neither because I love both!

Called it. Soon as he said there's another tom clancy operative who would not only out outdo these agencies but wouldn't even break a sweat if they combined forces....I knew he was goin to say Sam Fisher. Not Splinter Cell, Sam Fisher. Lol... ofc he'd kick all their asses too.

Like any good soldier can tell you, your deficiencies and adversities can be overcome based not only on who you fight but Where you fight. While I wouldn't discount the overall higher skill level of the Ghosts, Agents by nature are urban specialists while Ghosts tend to operate like smaller Guerilla units. Question is, weaponry/equipment and all else being equal, could your fighting environment be an advantage for one versus the other?
I'd rather like to see this play out. =)

If the Ghosts had access to the same equipment as the SHD/Division Agents then the Ghosts would fair up better in an offensive battle.

The ghosts may be the true last line of defence but the shd is there to make sure that it doesn't resort to the ghosts having to come into the light.

The shd can have ghosts undercover as high rank agents.

I know its an alternate reality from the rest of GR/R6/SC universe, but I thought it would be cool if GR or its mirror universe counterpart joined the JTF. It would be a neat way to implement new skills by sharing Ghost tech and replacing some of those clumsy JTF patrols that we all complained about with GR over watch teams.

You do gotta keep in mind that Division agents have been from military background, In Div2 you can find recordings of people arguing whether or not to recruit agents like kelso into the division... you hear their criteria and get an idea for what theyre looking for.. so it wouldnt seem far fetched if there were ghosts who were also Division agents as well... if society falls and youre a ghost... bet your ass they'll get stuff done with their skills + Division gear.. if there are Divisions agents from every type of criteria, well ghosts are criteria. Division Agents are Trained.. I bet there is at least a couple ghosts in the Division.

As a military brat and someone who likes to study combat, Division agents would win. There is a reason military fear guerrilla warfare. Ppl with some training who are determined and have tools will always be a match for trained soldiers. That training just equates to higher rate of survival, bringing you from 30 seconds to 10 or more minutes in active combat. In a drawn out firefighter Division wins, Issac gives them an unfair advantage as well making it near impossible to get the drop on them.

If it’s one hunting the other you have to remember that Division agents regularly deal with Hunters who are described as black ops or spec ops/best of the best.

Imo Division agents have this unrealistic fantastic quality to them only made more apparent by Issac. You also have to take this into consideration. Many ghost teams have been killed by very easy simple traps/ambushes like division agents. Neither are perfect but the Division agents seem to have luck on their side.
