In the Far Right Voices series, former far-right extremists tell their stories of what it is like to be a member of a far-right organisation. Uncompromising, hard-hitting, and honest, they tell it how it is. Would they have got involved, if they’d known what it was really like to be in a group like this? One thing they all agree on – getting out was hard, but after a series of life-changing events they realised that this was the only option they had.

Open Your Eyes to Hate is a campaign launched in July 2016 by Upstanding Neighbourhoods. Run by individuals from all walks of life, Upstanding Neighbourhoods’ goal is to promote and ensure a healthy, prosperous community which is also a safe place to live and work.
Upstanding Neighbourhoods rejects extremism in all its forms, whether that be religiously motivated, ideologically driven or inspired by far-right nationalism.
