For PCB students who didnt understood why cos(180+∅)= -cos∅, its because 180+ values lies in third quadrant and in third quadrant the value of tan and cot is positive and other angles are negative. Thats why cos∅ is negative. Hope this helped guys.(FROM PCM STUDENT)
