Loved him as the menacing Charlie Wade in 1996's Lone Star as well as Whistler in all 3 Blade films. Great country singer and actor. RIP Kris.

He got his role down real good as the ruthless business magnate Orin Hanner Sr. in the 1997 Steven Seagal movie Fire Down Below which was a film that in part represented his genre by including the likes of fellow musicians/actors Randy Travis, Travis Tritt, and Levon Helm.
