BLUE SKY RIDERS FEATURING KENNY LOGGINS, GEORGIA MIDDLEMAN & GARY BURR RELEASE DEBUT ALBUM "FINALLY HOME" AVAILABLE NOW!
A veritable who's who of music royalty, the group counts the iconic Kenny Loggins, Nashville songwriter Georgia Middleman (who has penned songs for Keith Urban, Faith Hill, Kenny Chesney & Reba McEntire amongst others) and award-winning songwriter Gary Burr (Nashville Songwriters Hall Of Fame, written 13 #1 hits and has penned songs for Tim McGraw, Reba McEntire, LeeAnn Rimes, Ricky Martin and Christina Aguillera, Kelly Clarkson and played and written with Ringo Starr and Carole King) within its ranks.
The creative spark that ignited Blue Sky Riders was struck when Loggins and Burr began working on songs together. Their chemistry inspired them both to "get back on the horse" and start a new band. Loggins welcomed the challenge but wanted to add a third female voice. Burr, whose accolades include being named "Songwriter of the Year" by ASCAP, Billboard and NSAI, suggested Middleman. She quickly accepted their invitation and Blue Sky Riders were born.
"Dream" is the first song that the band has played to introduce audiences to the upcoming album Finally Home, to be followed by the song "Feelin' Brave" which Blue Sky Riders launched in conjunction with their "Portraits Of Bravery," social media campaign. "Portraits Of Bravery" was created in support of our veterans and their families as they re-adjust to their domestic life in the United States.
