Aashish (Blessings) is a very personal song for me as I wrote this tune after my daughter was born, but I hope it resonates as much with every person who has been blessed with a child.

My dad sent me this song and I can’t stop crying, I am working abroad and I can’t stop thinking about all the childhood days laughing, walking, dancing with my dad. It's 2:11AM in where I'm right now. Got off work and started doing my assignments. I was supposed to write and speak about any poem/song/ piece of writing and why I chose it. This song was on my mind all the time though I've not listened it in a while. I started playing the song and tried writing about it. It's been an hour or so I can't stop crying. No matter how much I'm trying, I'm not able to do so. I regret every time I'd a fight with him, Disappointed him, let my ego come on the way between us. He has done so much for me, what I'm right now where I'm right now, is all because of him. I'm getting all those childhood flashbacks.
