Back in the 80's, the golden era of cb radio, the "air" was not polluted with this kind of interference. Nowadays it's a struggle to get a clear undisstorted call on the hf bands...

Another good video Fred. In that situation, a dam good NB (Noise blanker for newbie readers) comes into its own. I'm gradually working my way around the house with ferrite beads on all the wiring to chargers etc.

Our bloody wireless router is my bugbear. The NB helps a bit but not entirely. It's great going mobile high up in the countryside - but not mid-winter!

Hi Fred, yes it is very annoying but there is a possibility to eliminate it as you well know, the downside of it is the cost up to 250 - 300 EURO (qrm killer). That's also why i have a magnetic loop Baby from Mazzoni, these antennas are know for a low noise level. It's an overkill to invest that amount of money only for CB, 73 (Dudarra Sall on the media)

This is the only video I have discovered so far which displays the EXACT same sound of interference that I’m also experiencing
Have you had any luck tracking it down or has it stopped since you made the video, any times of day that it’s stronger etc ?

Hi Fred I spoke to the eBay seller and they said it would be try and be re delivered if no is there they will hold it at the depot. Is that the one down darks lane? And how long will they hold it for ?? I'll be back Friday so can collect then
