A Night 3 guide for Five Nights at Freddy's 2.

Explaining the mechanics of the office animatronics and how to best counter them. This game is mostly dependent on R&R; reflexes and repetition, and Night 3 is the first night to reveal the true rhythm of FNaF 2. Practice matters on FNaF 2 more than any other game, so don't feel bad if you die a few times. Strangely, Toy Freddy and Mangle are both completely deactivated on this night, as other animatronics pose a similar, but greater threat.

5:00 this fixed my anxiety i had about the mask. You can't accidently take off the mask when there is someone in your office. Once the cutscene starts playing you don't have to worry about accidently clicking it again.

Tip: if you are on mobile and need to get into mask mode very quickly from the camera, double tap the bottom left area.

This was super helpful. I beat night 3 on sheer luck, I literally heard the jumpscare audio happen and it turned 6 before anyone killed me. This strategy worked basically through the whole night.

QUICK TIP: When you hear rattling around the vents, check one of the vent cams to see which animatronic is in them, as you'll be prepared to act accordingly!

Just did it, it was actually easier than night 2 for me. I noticed that I’m doing really well with the withered animatronics, while I sometimes miss the vent animatronics and die from BB

Tips for people on mobile: when using the monitor hover your finger over the area where the mask button would be. so right when you take the monitor off you can be prepared to not die to a withered and press it early.
