Is this 1S the next in line where xiaomi released the 4k 150" or the one where it had 1080p? I was thinking of the 2019 with 4k but it's not in Europe right now

I'm guessing this would look even better on a screen designed for laser projectors. Those can be quite pricey though.

Thanks for the review. What is the max resolution in Netflix and Youtube that projector is allowed to play? with previous version, we needed a external device to be able to play 4k content.

I LIVE IN THE UK and I am getting very confused with this projector. Is this native 4K resolution? The first generation of these Xiaomi ultra short throw projects were native HD 1920x1080. And from the UK when you google them they come back with so many names, Fengmi, wemax, Mijia etc. The prices are all over the place. Some claim to be 4K but then say in the fine print native HD.

Xiaomi 4K 1S is this the official name and what is a reliable website to buy these from? Bear in mind I live in the UK. Also how does this compare to Optoma P1 (£3000) and LG cinebeam now (£4000). If its genuine 4K and is 80% as good as the Optoma and LG then at £1600 (1800 euro) then it is worth it!

One more question, to be honest there is not that much 4K content and when I download movies, I download at full HD. My room is big enough to project a 100 inch screen and sit about 2 and half metres away. At this size distance is there much visual difference between HD and 4K

Would it be possible to hang the projector in the ceiling and rotate the picture?
- it would then be much easier to get a bigger screen with a distance of 50 cm to the wall.
