Symi Town, Symi, Greece - July 2013

Back to my Summer Greek island adventure...From Rhodes we took the ferry to the Greek Island of Symi. This video shows the absolutely stunning little port town of Symi, capital of the Greek island Symi. As you will probably be aware there is a great tradition in Greece of naming capital cities of islands after the island itself.

The video begins with the approach to Symi, and is mostly focussed around the port and highlights numerous boats and a couple of ferries. It shwocases the streets, architecture, buildings and general infrastructure as well as numerous shots over the sea. This really was a lovely place to visit, and I will definitely return one day.

Back in the 90's I visited this place and it was awesome.  During the day it appears to be just a sleepy little town but at night it's a blast.
