Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman received a warm welcome from women party workers at BJP Headquarters upon her arrival on July 23. Earlier in the day, Sitharaman presented the Union Budget 2024. She announced an allocation of more than Rs 3 lakh crore for schemes benefiting women and girls in the budget.
