People who cite “efficiency” when debating basketball should not be taken seriously. Anyone who has hooped even in the most casual of pick up games knows that the objective is to win, rather than shoot a certain percentage or have a certain assist-turnover ratio. Russ did everything for okc this game and if it were not for him emptying the clip, okc would have lost by 20. Instead, he himself brought the team back in a hostile environment against a great defensive team and put okc in a position to win.

Still, no matter how negative the comments about him, i give him respect because in that game, clearly he's the only one trying to fight back, especially after Mitchell went 20+ points in 3rd qtr. 40 points on 40+ shots is terrible, but if your whole team is trash then probably its the only right thing to do. Feels bad for OKC and Russ.
