Try without using yeast and boiling the ginger. It naturally ferments on its own.

Edit: three of the two bottles exploded when I opened them 🫣🤧. I went as slow as I could. And it stained my parents’ dining room ceiling…..my dad shook that one… 🙄

My wife and I use champagne yeast for yeast carbonated drinks. Works great and you can't taste the yeast

I've never actually eaten passionfruit but I've had candies/gummies that were flavored with the actual juice and it's one of my favorite flavors. I'd love to taste that tart tart flavor in a spicy ginger beer, it sounds so good!

You should try making a gingerbug a natural ferment from ginger kind of like sourdough it makes the perfect yeast for gingerbeer without using commercialized yeast 😁

For the passionfruit aficionados: Brazilian commercial varieties of passion fruit are much bigger and tastier. And we have several “maracujá” flavoured treats and beverages as well. The juice is really a staple here.

I've got some blue passionflower growing but the fritillary caterpillars are no joke and usually decimate the plant. This next season I'm going to war with the butterflies. Hopefully it will fruit again.

Haha I destroyed all the paint on the walls of my room making ginger beer. Very tasty but i let it overpressurize the bottle and when I opened it, the beer ended up everywhere. Passion fruit would be an interesting addition, i used lemon for the acidity when I made it

I just made this yesterday after seeing this video and it exploded in my closet 😭😂 the only dark cupboard I had was my wardrobe and it went through all the clothes. I probs did something wrong. Saddest part is not getting to taste it. I'll be wearing it for a few months though 😭
