Can President be IMPEACHED for actions BEFORE election?

I bet you didn’t know that the President of the United States can be impeached, convicted, and removed from office for actions that occurred prior to taking office.

There are some people who disagree with me, like Sen. Mullin from Oklahoma, but hear me out!
No President has ever been impeached, convicted, and removed from office to provide precedent, therefore we must look at the text of the Constitution.

The text of the Constitution doesn't limit to impeachment to actions occurring during office, therefore, I think it is fair game.

Otherwise, imagine a President who commits Treason the day before taking office, and then being stuck with them for the next 4 years!

If the crime was committed before the office was held, there is no qualified immunity.

If the president’s actions didn’t meet the level to where he’s constitutionally barred from serving, then I would disagree.

But if he’s been charged or convicted while sitting as president because of his crimes before he was president, then that would be a different story.

These are the same people that say Trump is a threat to democracy while they actively try to put their opponents in prison over paperwork errors.

in order to run as a primary candidate. all individuals have to pass a no-felony review to be considered an eligible candidate. someone who has already been a president is eligible to run for election again for a 2nd term within the 2 term limit, unless an impeachment was passed at the house, senate and judicial committee. the impeachment proceedings is for a standing president, any other attempt of proceedings outside of current office chair is considered a misuse of taxpayer funds and time. so you need to check your grounds and terms of impeachment.
