Redolent of Emitt Rhodes' 'Somebody Made For Me' but further in every direction including production value. Such a gorgeous tune, would've been incredible if Gerry had ever gone into the studio with McCartney the way George Michael did on 'Heal the Pain.

Just pure brilliant how Gerry Rafferty materialized his stuff and melded this song together in one piece hit, and as a fan of this kind of music, you know you're listening to a masterpiece. There's nothing out there like this! "Home and Dry" here in Southern California during this pandemic, per se, to add a bit of foretelling from 1978 Gerry Rafferty. RIP!
