Hello everyone, welcome to SA Today. On 4 March 2025, we will start today's video with protest and road closures at Kleinskool in Gqeberha (Port Elizabeth) in South Africa, today. This happened after heavy rain around Durban and other areas along the KNZ coast resulted in flooding. 14 mm rain in 15 minutes fell in Potchefstroom today. We stop for a cup of coffee at the Wonderland Nursery & Coffee shop in Hermanus. Buy bread at the Broodstories Artisan Bakery in Kleinmond. Shop for flowers at the Durbanville Rose Garden in Cape Town. Drive into the Bobbejaanskrans viewpoint in the Kruger National Park. Flysafair in the top left of the video on short finals flying over Burgundy Estate, a suburb of Cape Town, and we will show more videos today from around South Africa.

The weather forecast across South Africa today is as follows:
Today's weather across South Africa features foggy conditions along the west coast and in KwaZulu-Natal Province, as well as over the Gauteng Province, the Free State, and North West Province. There is a likelihood of scattered to severe thunderstorms particularly in regions of the Great Karoo, Eastern Cape Province, Free State, and the KwaZulu-Natal Province. Meanwhile, Gauteng Province, North West Province, and Limpopo Provincemay experience only isolated showers and thunderstorms. Severe thunderstorms are anticipated to bring heavy rainfall and intense lightning, which could result in localized flooding in low-lying areas. This weather may also lead to damage to property and infrastructure. Areas at greater risk include the Northern Cape Province, the Western Cape Province, northern Eastern Cape Province, southern Free State Province, western KwaZulu-Natal Province, and the Mpumalanga Province. Stay safe and take precautions if you're in affected areas.

Kristy busy with training her horse at The Hill Equestrian in Port Elizabeth. We stay over at the Misty Hill Country Hotel in Muldersdrift near Krugersdorp.
