In todays episode were getting un-wanted roll cage steel out of the way, mocking up some panels, and then getting cutting!

Move the fuel cell to under the hood of the car for weight distribution and for space in the cockpit you can extend the front end in front of the firewall it's more work but for driving it's much better and more comfy

I feel like you would get alot more cabin room by getting a fuel cell for the front of the car, then you could move the seats back alot further, but I've seen you pull some crazy things off and have no doubt you'll get it figured out, awesome build! knew the fast back idea was going to come back at some point after the last one lol

These guys are doing this thing the hardest and more illogical way possible.
Love it.
Keep doing it.

I'm really excited to see this project unfold as I am also huge 67-73 Mustang fastback fan. As a suggestion, you could make the rear glass (plus the sheet metal around it) and trunk lid one piece. That would make it like a hatchback so you can gain better access to the engine once you get the body on it.

Since it's mid engine, you could have the only mustang with functional side scoops.

Move the fuel-cell to the front of the car that'll get you further back and a better seating position

Rob Dempley has a great idea. Make the rear glass and trunk lid one piece as the engine hatch. Love your different build ideas.

if you move the fuel cell to the front, that might give you room to move the seat and pedals much further backwards . 😀

A friend of mine who is a
"OLD SCHOOL CAR BUILDER" has a favourite saying, that I have adopted...
"CUT YOUR WAY OUT, AND WELD YOUR WAY BACK IN"....
It always seems to work for me...!!!
Good luck with this build, can't wait to see the finished product...!!!👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

put a fuel cell in the front, and have much more room in the interiour, so the seats can slide back a lot more

man oscer is a legend. the definition of fabrication. just casually cutting cars down the middle and extending them

since you are at it, remove the fuel cell so you can push the seats back then relocate the dual fuel cells to in front to the two rear wheels.

It's a no brainer to move the fuel cell to the front of the car for better seat position and better weight distribution, this is done in lots of mid engine cars.
Nice build.

Surprised you don’t just move the fuel cell to the front where the engine would be normally, especially since this car is likely to 40-60 weight which is awful for rwd. Would also give you a lot more room for seating by pushing the bulk head back.

Need to push a lot of weight to the front.

the thing that I like the most of this chanel is that I don't have to wait to see a lot of work done. If this were other channel the coolant lines will get out of the car the next episode. Truly the best automotive program ever for my perspective

I think that you are the one who gets to choose the build and the car because it’s a personal thing of what you want in your collection, it’s nice to see the small steps to get to the finish product 👍
