I started replying to this, but I'm not going to give my opinion, because I'd be insulted or slapped down. That, to me, is the larger issue - that these days, people can't say what they think, and then maybe aren't open to discussion, and overall, people seem totally opposed to nuance - to shades of grey, to recognising there are complexities in arguments that you or me might not agree with, but at least need to be recognised and, if people want to, be debated, in a polite and respectful way.
