Thank you Eric for a large dose of Truth! Appreciate your candor. I find it challenging to pull the C-Suite folks away from their shinny new toys. I believe you have helped me. I will reach out in the next few weeks. Thank you again.

Every software have their pros & cons. Thank you for highlighting the cons but honestly, every different software has their weak & strong points.

I'm sure there is no software can fit into every business in the world but there is still a reason why NetSuite is still being the top ranking for SME business software.

I have seen before a very big customer whose NetSuite implementation wasn't that successful when the CFO analyze and started evaluate alternative software, she in the end still carries on with NetSuite because after evaluating all the other software, NetSuite is still the best choice out there.

Hi Eric, If I may ask, overall which is better Oracle Netsuite or SAP B1? Thank you

Disagree about the advancement in modules. SuiteApps are seen as modules with specifc feature rich and deeply functional add-ons. Most are built on platform...no API's etc. Seamless end user experience

Eric's syntax is on turbo ...

Awesome insight on the "monster" which is the Netsuite integration.

Can you recommend a DRP and/or MRP system that handles inventory supply and demand at multiple locations?

I'd love to know in what ways the author thinks Netsuite is inflexible. It's a totally subjective claim. SuiteScript enables you to customise the hell out of Netsuite, and SDF enables continuous integration.

1-Theres several alternatives (inside NetSuite) to improve flexibility, that why tools like suitescript exist.
2-People usually skip the proper processes inside the companies and when implementing NetSuite, there is some disagreement because NetSuite forces departments to follow the proper rules.
3-Agree
4-Agree and not, it lacks of a robust BI process, but it also can be implemented/connected with several BI tools to improve reporting. (also, point 1).
5-Agree

What I recommend is to find a good consultant company that helps you to implement NS in the proper way.

I've been watching Eric for the last few months as we are just starting a digital transformation. I've enjoyed the fact that he has always said that he's vendor agnostic. I can't help but wonder what Oracle Netsuite did to tick him off bad enough to post this video. A bias can go both ways.

I own a med-size company. I went with Oracle NetSuite and I regret taking this decision.

Will check out other videos, however, as person with 10 years of SAP ECC experience I can say that all the above points won't be found in one single system! Even SAP has different modules to support all of these, where BI is actually a separate solution. I think its indeed a bit bias video from the other side.

I have worked on Netsuite product I agree its not suitable for medium and large companies. Any advance customisation has to be upgraded every 6 months, and it creates a need for continuous testing and maintenance. There are other limitations as well... It's still a good product for small and less complex businesses.

From an accounts payable perspective it's the slowest and least efficient system I've worked with

Please provide specifics. It seems you've never worked with Netsuite. Fear of change to get to a better state? Back-office module limitations are best described by using GP. Business intelligence of GP is non-existent. What the hell is going on here? GP is one of the worst systems ever used. When a GP needs updated, what is the cost of that? The contracts with NS are extremely straightforward. I highly doubt any real difference that you're trying to create.

Absolutely right. I have used half year NS. Lucky we are new company. Some change is not that difficult. I have heard about some other company implemented last year. All people fight in side for new system.
