Personally a think you should spend the winter going through the main fleet giving them a good going over and just a general tidy up cause at the end of the day use are relying on tractors with big hours wouldn’t hurt to spend a few bob just putting things right that are starting to get loose

Simple choice - the 2725. This is the only Tractor that would be a daily usable alternative should any of the main fleet breakdown. It would be the most sensible to spend the time and money to overhaul. When you were looking to buy one you mentioned it was hard to find, so I presume there would be a decent value to a fully restored model. As for how far to go on it - if you do a job, then do it once - so full rebuild on engine and full nut and bolt restoration. The other tractors are more a passion project, that once renovated will just sit collecting dust, hence I believe the 2725 is the best option to focus on next.

Stick to those with a story. Your dads nuffield forklift, grandads 20, the 165r. Nondescript money pits like the E27, 590 etc will take ages & cost a fortune! Petrol Nuffield & Gold belly fergie could become museum pieces without major work so tick boxes even if temporary. Recab 2725 so its usable. Is 3690 your first tractor? She maybe needs retiring, hell shes some bother, but she'd line up with the grey & nuff to show the first tractors of 3 generations? 6480 needs to go, could you part with it and the 2725 & get something better to replace both? Slurry 6290 is going to need a swap at some point too.

If the 3690 needs new crank shaft, I'd get that into the workshop first. Otherwise it might end up like the 6480 or 6290! Same to see if parked after all the work and money spent on it this year.

The crystal and the forklift. Advantage of the crystal is you have a lot expenditure coming up and it isn’t a family heirloom so you have something to cash in if money is tight

Give us the zetor please Phil. Should be a reasonably quick turnaround vs the 1200 and give ye some heart to keep going!!! Also she's a beauty that shouldn't be left go backwards!!!

Get the zetor up and going put her on the rake for the summer save dropping on and off the rake.

The 1200 would look good with a Shawnee Poole dump trailer on the back. The Zetor!!! 🙂

I think the john deere. A tractor that has been in your family for years. Ferguson forsdon Nuffield ect you will come across any day at vintage days the john deere is rare and would look well in the museum

2725. No need for nut & bolt. Just get the cab back to what it should look like and make sure the rest of the tractor is mechanically sound. After that just a touch up of any rusty spots and new decals and you'll have a lovely useable tractor

Uncle Ian Massey turned out to be just gorgeous! I vote for the little Massey that you have the cab for.

Your great grandads Fergy 20. The story alone is worthy of the restoration.

Please don’t think I’m being disrespectful- personally I love this channel, watch every video for the last few years…….. but, maybe you guys could sell a lot of these tractors, combines and silage harvesters? Free up a lot of room and a few pound in the pockets. Nut and bolt restoration is great but from your last videos ye have a lot coming up in the next few years, great videos, all the best to ye all

do the zetor first as its quite easy to work on them which could be a bit of a project for yourself :) and definitely the 2725 after

Shame the other 1200 isn't on the list... You know what you're doing now, it would take half the time... and imagine the videos with both of them on the draw ❤💛
