The biggest summer swell to hit Maui in 40 years and pro surfers score the best Ma'alaea "Freight Trains" ever! This is raw footage of some of the most perfect pumping waves I've ever filmed! I was lucky enough to live there in 1993. My Uncle's place was right there, front row. I scored that wave proper a few times, maybe 4-6 foot. Super FAST, ultra-shallow-urchin covered reef, and packed with heavy locals! Definite experience ce of a lifetime! Maui No Ka Oi
